Fight club: Directors Mohit Suri and Vishal punch it out at a bar

In a scene straight out of a Hindi potboiler, directors Mohit Suri and Vishal Mahadkar of 3 AM fame were engaged in a drunken brawl at an upscale pub recently in Mumbai. The incident that occurred a week back unfolded in full view of the patrons of the pub. Vishal was sitting with a female Assistant Director (AD) when Mohit Suri walked in. On seeing the pretty AD, Mohit allegedly passed some unsavoury remarks which made the former empty a glass of beer on his face. Vishal is then believed to have held Mohit by his collar which apparently angered the Ek Villain director who then traded blows with Vishal. The incident could have reached ugly proportions but thankfully those present at the pub intervened and the fight was stopped to a timely end. When we contacted Vishal to know about his reaction, the 3 AM director said, "We have been friends for 30 years. It is but natural to get into fights over such a long close friendship." Mohit Suri didn't revert to our text message.
