My character is one of the most complex ones ever projected on TV: Sahil Salathia

With Everest launched on Star Plus, there’s lot of buzz about the show. And we are here to introduce you to a very good looking newcomer who is looking forward to his stint on the small screen. Sahil Salathia, an engineer from Delhi, was a model before stepping into the world of acting. He will play the role of Arjun Sabharwal, one of the protagonists. Paired alongside Rohan Gandotra and Shamata Anchan, the guy will be seen playing a celebrity mountaineer. “Arjun is a guy who is celebrated for his talent, vigor and work. He is heading for the Everest quest as a corporate company is sending him as a brand ambassador. He is a rich, good looking, stylish and a little spoilt but very active. He is a little unpredictable in nature but he has his heart in the right place," he said. He continued further, "Throughout the show, his journey will be presented and that will bring out his various shades. I feel Arjun’s character is one of the most complex ones that have ever been projected on TV,” said the actor. When asked about his feelings on the show’s launch, Sahil quipped, “We started shooting for the show in January and I am so very excited now to see how it has shaped up. There is already so much buzz about that I am all nerves. And I am actually quite kicked about it!" The youngster has the talent to make it big in movies, but when asked why he decided to make his debut on TV, the actor said, “When you have so many wonderful people like Ashutosh Gowariker and AR Rahman working on a TV show, do you need anything else? This show is as big as a film and I feel extremely lucky to be a part of it. There are so many movies that come and go, but TV shows have the opportunity to stay longer on the viewer’s mind.” True, that! And finally when asked about his expectations from the public, Sahil said, “I really hope the viewers take our show positively and love us a lot. Everest is a beautiful project and I am sure you guys will have a blast watching it.” We wish the youngster all the success in the world!!!
