Ashiesh Roy quits Sony TV's Hum Hai Naa

Tellychakkar.com recently reported about actress Shubhangi Gokhale (Ammaji) being unhappy with her ongoing track in Sony Entertainment Television’s Hum Hai Naa and now it looks like the ‘creative dissatisfaction’ part is not just limited to her. As per our latest reports actor Ashiesh Roy best known as Pintu Chakravarti on the show has put down his papers owning to similar reasons. "It's true. I have put down my papers and I am currently serving my three months notice period," confirmed the actor. When asked the reason for his exit from the show he said, "I knew that I was playing the role of the lead girl’s father (being essayed by Pratyusha Banerjee) which meant my role diminishing to nothing post her marriage. But, unfortunately the girl got married to the boy in a few weeks time instead of three months and I was left with nothing to play. The only hope was the track where the girl would get back home to stay with her father. The son-in-law too was to join them but things changed once again." Which means you were left with nothing to do. "Yes, plus my dates were blocked. So, I couldn't take up any other show all this while," stated the artist. He further added, "Now I'll finally get to take up other projects."
