Actress Pallavi Subhash, who will now be seen in Colors upcoming show Ashoka (Contiloe), is very much excited to do her first historical show, where she will be seen essaying the role of Dharma, mother of Ashoka.
When Tellychakkar.com spoke to the lady about her connection with the young Emperor Ashoka aka Siddharth Nigam on the set, the lovely lady replied with smile, “We share a real life mother-son relationship. We growing fond of each other with each passing day and it can be said that Siddharth is blessed with two mothers.”
The lady seemed to be really fond of her on-screen son, as she continued, “He is an amazing boy. Being a National level gymnast he performs his stunts quite well and I am simply impressed with his skills.”
When we asked the lady about her character, Pallavi quickly replied, “No doubt that the character of Dharma was very important in Ashoka’s life and in the formation of Indian history, much has not been written about her. There are only few books where we can find information about Dharma and I am going through those books right now.”
She went on to add, “I was very much inspired by my mother while performing the character Dharma. The way my mother has raised me up and handled everything, I can surely find some resemblance between her and my character.”
The lady also mentioned that while performing a historical character she needs to be careful so that she can convincingly portray her character.
We wish the lovely lady all the best for her career.
