From lorry to family!

Yeh Dil Chahe More has had an eventful journey so far. The show has moved from the road to home, and the love story which began on a lorry will now shift focus to family drama. The track has had a radical shift, or perhaps an expected one, as the protagonists will now fall in love with each other after having sustained a love-hate relationship thus far. Of course, they will continue to have confused notions about each other, or how else will the channel sustain interest in the show? For YDCM loyalists, the show is changing its time slot from 9 pm to 8.30 pm.
From shooting outdoors to indoors- "I will miss the lorry terribly, and shooting outdoors too! It was a different experience shooting outdoors for seven months (65 episodes) when both Tara and Veer started on a journey and had different aspirations. Shooting outdoors wasn't easy as the heat, dust gets to you but shooting indoors isn't easy as well. Now both Tara and Veer have got back to the family and the rest of the drama will unfold. Working on the sets is also fun as it's young and energetic and my character is transforming into a mature and serious girl," says pretty Chandana Sharma, who is already tired of weeping endlessly in the show! New romantic song for the show- "This will be a new phase and I have already learnt so much! Veer has not confessed his love yet and thinks Tara still hates him. They are star-crossed lovers," says down to earth Amit Khanna, who considers himself lucky for having gotten himself the main lead in the show after struggling for a while. He adds, "A song will be incorporated in the show which will be picturised on Veer and Tara essentially. It's a beautiful romantic number for the heartbroken lovers, sung and composed by Shree and will be shot in the next two weeks. The song surely deserves to be made into an album." Tara realizes that she is in love with Veer but then Veer is not aware of it and there is confusion between the two. New entrant - "It has its hit and miss moments, it's got to do with youth and their love story. We show a perfect balance of love and relationships between the couple and their family members. We will have a new character called Neha entering the show soon. Neha will be played by Nazneen Patel who's a middle class girl and has desires of getting married to Veer," says Ashish Khurana, director of the show who has shows like Millee, Kehta Hai Dil, Arzoo Hai Tu to his credit besides having worked with Balaji and assisting Ravi Rai in the past. Track to concentrate on other family members too- "Our track started on an interesting note but somewhere in between the track concentrated on Tara and Veer and for others the track wasn't strong enough. It's but obvious since it's a run away story of a couple but now my character will become more defined and clear. I will be more concerned with my sisters (Tara played by Chandana) life besides Aparna Tilak will play my love interest in the show," says the articulate Kushal Punjabi who has a contract with the show till May. After that, Kushal says he will be holidaying in Jakarta and shooting for a film.
