The vivacious actress, whose winning smile won many a hearts, has added two new shows to her kitty. "I did not quit TV but was on a break. Now, I am really excited about the news shows.. The first one is a comic love story for 9X and another show will have me as a host," reveals Chandana. Throwing further light on her role, she adds, "The weekly untitled show has four main characters and I'm one of them. I play the role of a girl who is born and brought up in Dubai. She's a tomboy and later ends up becoming a bodyguard to the main guy in the serial. I have never played a role like this before and I quite liked the concept," explains Sharma. The other starcast includes Puneet, Shruti Seth and Maninee De. Chandana who has earlier hosted shows like Om Shanti Om, is also equally excited about a countdown show for an upcoming channel. "Since I have already hosted shows, it's not a very difficult task for me to take up this project. Though, I can't reveal too much about this but it's going to be a weekly show," she says. So, where was this chirpy lass all these days? "I went missing when Dil Chahe… which was abruptly pulled off air. Later I took some time off for some personal work. I indulged in writing and pottery. My association with PETA also kept me busy. But now I am totally focused on my career," she says Now lets hope the girl with a winning smile is back for a blast.
