'Aman should never have changed his name!'- Sanjay Jumaani

Revealed! The reason behind Aman Yatan Verma's downfall! Sanjay Jumaani, the man who changed the destinies of many a telly star by numerologically altering their nomenclatures, says Aman's change of name last year is the cause of his current misfortunes. Incidentally, Aman went in for the name change on his own, without Jumaani's or anyone else's advice. But if the revamped Aman Yatan Verma sounded suitably dignified and helped him land the plum Indian Idol assignment, it definitely didn't augur well for him in the India's Most Wanted episode.
Says Jumaani, the force behind the changed names of Shobhaa De, Tusshar Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, Ishaa Koppikar and Anu Mallik as well as numerous Star Plus soaps, "It was a very wrong move on Aman's part to change his name. He should not have tampered with it. He has a great date of birth, sharing it as he does with the Big B (Amitabh) and the Big B of the small screen, Ronit Roy." Jumaani maintains that Indian Idol would have happened for Aman anyway, since the year 2005 had numbers that were compatible with his star sign. Meanwhile, Aman has filed a police complaint against India TV CEO Rajat Sharma, Sohaib Ilyasi and the 'reporter' Ruchi. Knowing how the judiciary works in this country, the long drawn out court proceedings could well cost Aman his roles in other serials as well. Aman, however, seems to be in an upbeat mood. "You can't keep a good man down," he quips, adding that he was busy with his show on Sahara One, Dial One Aur Jeeto, and is looking forward to his track in Kumkum. It is also to be noted that in Kumkum, his character is currently in jail, and will be there for the next two months. Kumkum director Arvind Babbal, though, says,"I have not planned anything yet for him. Let's see what happens." When asked how he was feeling, now that he has the whole industry backing him, Aman says, "Why should I be feeling any different, I am rocking!" And we really hope he is having a rocking time, considering that a deadly sting had completely rocked his world just a couple of weeks ago. On a lighter note, we have just come to know that Aman is a Libran ruled by Venus --- a sign that makes him the proverbial lady's man. Listening, anyone?
