Dor to go off-air; second season in pipeline

News of UTV’s show Maykee Se Bandhi Dor on Star Plus going off air has been doing the rounds for quite sometime now. However, the latest buzz is that the show will bid adieu on October 2 with a maha episode. The show will make way for Cinevistaas’ Ek Hazaron Main Meri Behna Hai. Our source informs, “The show has failed to gain TRPs hence the channel has decided to pull it off air. However the show’s ratings did improve in the last couple of weeks. Hence the production house has decided to come up with its second season. So the show will now go off air with some loose ends. Dor will be aired for the last time on September 2 and the show will end with a maha episode. Some of the characters will have a happy ending.” We spoke to Rohit Khurana who plays the role of Bhaskar in the show, “I have been hearing these rumours for quite sometime now but we haven’t received any confirmation yet.”
