Bhanu Uday, who played Aryan in Star One's Special Squad has bagged his second big screen venture and will soon be seen in an Indo- US production, Monsoon. Directed by Shyam Palse, Monsoon is a short film which deals with the relation between a father and a son.
"The film focuses on the strains in the relations after my character (the son) marries an American girl and the father played by Ravi Wanwari doesn't accept the marriage. Later in the story, the girl dies and the son blames the father for everything. And so the story progresses," says the actor who has made quite a name for himself with his portrayal of the headstrong Aryan.
The Hollywood flick, Searching for Sara, co-starring Manoj Bajpai was the actor's first big screen project and Bhanu seems excited about the second one as well.
So is he bidding adieu to television, we ask -- "Special Squad has raised the bars and I'm looking for something better on television and more of movies. As far as work is concerned, I will not do anything that doesn't appeal to me," says Bhanu.
So it's the time to just wait and watch for the handsome hunk!
