Well, speaking about his character in Iss Ishq Ka Rab Rakha, in an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, Jaideep mentioned, “I play the role of Balbir, the eldest son who believes in traditions. He is still modern and is strong headed. He is loving, understanding and accommodating too. What I like most about this character is that he knows what to do and the right time to make decisions. The story is very close to my heart and that is why I opted to be a part of the show. I wanted to be a part of this show because this production house has given some of the best shows.

Also, the concept of Bengali and Punjabi families coming together is something which interests me as  I am a sardar and was born in Kolkata so I understand the cultural differences.” (Also Read: From Comfort to Inspiration: Celebrities Spill Their Coffee Rituals on International Coffee Day)
