Rucha grounded!

Kkusum and Bhabhi will both have to wait. Kkusum's Kali and Bhabhi's Suhana has just suffered a slipped disc and has been hospitalised. The petite Rucha Gujarathi was suffering from persistent pain in the lower back for the last four days but continued to report for work. On Wednesday, apparently, the pain got so bad that she was forced to visit a doctor who has recommended bed rest for an entire week. Her condition, she says, is still in the preliminary stages, and can be cured soon. An optimistic Rucha, who has been admitted to a private nursing home in Borivali in suburban Mumbai, says she hopes to get well enough in around four days to resume shooting. She has already informed both Balaji Telefilms and UTV, the production houses of her two current shows. Is it exertiion that's pulling down Rucha? Our sources tell us that Rucha's illhealth isn't something new. She has often complained of being unwell in the last few months, but this is the first time that she has needed to take a break from work. Significantly, Kkusum was Rucha's first acting assignment on television, before which was into modelling. Bhabhi is her second TV assignment. This isn't the first time a TV actor has been grounded with a bad back. Just recently, Ritu Chaudhary had to take a sabbatical from work when she was diagnosed with a bad back.
