The show according to sources is on the lines of Sony’s show Crime Patrol, which was hosted by Shakti Anand. The channel has roped in Subbu Subramaniam to direct the show. Subramaniam also directed Crime Patrol. A source says, “The show is on the lines of Crime Patrol. The show will dramatise real life crime stories and incidents across the country. The former was produced by Cinevistaas but now the channel has asked Red Chillies Idiot Box to produce the same for them. Apparently, more or less the same team from Crime Patrol will be retained on this show. The title is yet to be decided.” We contacted Subbu Subramaniam but he refused to divulge any details. He said, “I have got nothing to say on this.” We contacted Danish Khan, Marketing Head Sony Entertainment television, but he was busy in a meeting.
