Team of Piya Rangrezz gets 'nostalgic' as they go the 'Balika Vadhu' way

In the year 2008, Sphere Origins, the renowned production house helmed by Sunjoy Wadhwa re-created history by coming up with a concept wherein they depicted the aftermaths that a little girl would face, post getting married as a child.

Yes, we are talking of the cult show Balika Vadhu, which tii date is going strong on Colors. With two little kids Avika Gor and Avinash Mukherjee performing stupendously, the story picked up pace beautifully with the two of them getting married at a young age.

The initial important sequences hovering around Anandi and Jagya’s childhood was shot at a place near Jodhpur, named Kejarla. And what everyone saw on the TV screens was a masterpiece of a story, woven around interestingly etched characters.

Now, the maker Sphere Origins are planning to replicate the same success of Balika Vadhu with their new show, Piya Rangrezz which will launch on Life OK in the month of April.

News coming in is that the unit of the new show is presently based in Kejarla, shooting for their initial sequences.

As per a reliable source, “The Kejarla shoot of Balika Vadhu kick-started a great run for the show. The important initial sequences of Piya Rangrezz are also being shot at the same place now. It brings back nostalgic memories for the production house, and there is a belief and hope within the team that Piya Rangrezz will also garner as much of appreciation as Balika Vadhu has gotten.”

We tried calling Producer Sunjoy Wadhwa to talk to him about this, but he remained unavailable for comment.
