After being a part of numerous TV commercials, Samarth Shandilya is riding high and hoping to make it big in the world of TV and Bollywood.

Samarth, who has also appeared in Channel V’s Sadda Haq, shared, “I was happy doing commercials when I was noticed and approached for shows and films. I did some episodes for Gumrah and other shows. Thankfully, I got a chance with Sadda Haq and then some movies came my way. All in all, it had been a fulfilling time till now.”

When we asked the actor on whether advertisements help actors, he said, "Yes, it does and it pays well too (laughs). Commercials are a great way to build your show reel. But I also make it a point to only appear in advertisements where I am selling the brand and not being the bystander.”

Talking about his USP, Samarth mentioned, “I believe in doing quality stuff than quantity. You can either be a ghoda or a gadha (horse or donkey), and I want to be a horse who runs long races. Having been a part of films of Anurag Kashyap (Tripp in Goa) and with more in the pipeline, I am sure good things are in store for me."

And finally talking about TV, the young lad said, “I am definitely looking forward to doing some great work on TV. But yes, youth shows still hold dear to me and I would love to be a part of some fresh content. As for films, I am open to all kinds of experimental roles and projects.”

Way to go Samarth!!!
