Raftaar and Scarlett are my toughest competitors: Faisal Khan

The young wonder Faisal Khan of Dance India Dance fame, is back again with Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (BBC & Colors) to show off his dancing skills. And as the young talent gears up to impress us some more with his power packed performances, we chatted with the spirited lad about his new show. When we quizzed him about doing Jhalak, Faisal confidently replied, “Honestly speaking many would not have even participated in a dance reality show after winning one. But, personally I always wanted to do this”. “I took some time to achieve whatever I have today, but I believe that this is just a beginning for me and have a long way to go. I want to upgrade both my dancing and acting skills. I get inspired looking at Shah Rukh Khan, the way he has established himself today makes me look up to him,” added the young boy. So, will you miss anything from your DID days in Jhalak? “Well I think I am going to miss Geeta maa (Kapoor) terribly. The sweet, affectionate gestures of her is something which made my DID days even more special.” We also asked him about his competitors in the show and Faisal quipped, “For me Raftaar and Scarlett are my toughest competitors. Both of them are excellent dancers and I am pretty sure that they are going to give me a hard fight in Jhalak.” As the young talent takes a step forward in his career we wish him all the luck.
