He is charming, good looking, cute and is all set to win hearts with his lover boy skills on MTV Splitsvilla 8 (Colosceum and Lost Boy Productions).
We are talking about the young sensation Zaan Khan, who after his successful stint in Jhalli Anjali, will be seen taking part in the controversial reality show.
Talking more about his experience, the actor shared, “It was a very different world for me. I am someone who stays away from all the pleasures of life and leads a simple life. But it was an amazing experience to actually go and see what a different league it was altogether. Also, I got to know myself much better and it was a lifetime experience for me.”
When asked what made him choose a reality show like Splitsvilla, Zaan said, “To be honest, I have been following this show for a long and am a fan. When I got an opportunity, I jumped at it. The beauty of Splitsvilla is in the competitive spirit that the contestants develop over the course of time. That really attracted me.”
So was ‘love’ also a factor? “Not at all. I really believe that you cannot go out looking for love. When it has to happen, it will. One doesn’t win love, it just blows you away.”
Talking about the big revelation aka his virginity, he said, “I have no qualms in accepting that I am a virgin as I have had a very old fashioned upbringing. Also, I am a religious person and believe in fulfilling my rights. I am surprised that the fans have taken this in a positive manner and have been showering me with a lot of wishes. As an actor, to be loved and respected by your fans, is the greatest high.”
And finally, thanking the entire team, the actor said, “Vikas Gupta, Aditya Swamy, Debbie, Colosceum team and everyone associated with Splitsvilla, thanks a ton! The directors really helped us sail through. And yes, Rannvijay (Singh) and Sunny (Leone) too. They are just fabulous. Sunny is super cute and her Hindi is cute. I have immense respect for both of them.”
