Today on the 69th year of Independence Day we got in touch with the bold actress to know what measures should be taken for empowering women.
Like always, with lot of grace and confidence, she replied, “Two points are of high priority. First is to give powers to women to fight for their rights. We are not saying give us more seats but let’s not have gender inequality. Patronizing attitude is very wrong. Secondly, please don’t depict women as the weak ones. Let every woman of India be given proper education so that she can stand on her feet and face the world.”
She continued, “I would like to request the government that make laws that are really strict. Nobody should dare to attempt any crime.”
