MUMBAI: Mumbai, January 17, 2025: Sony SAB’s ‘Wagle Ki Duniya - Nayi Peedi Naye Kissey’ follows the daily struggles and triumphs of the middle-class Wagle family. In recent episodes, Sakhi (Chinmayee Salvi) and Gungun (Nandini Maurya) discover the dangers of the Chinese manja, a harmful kite string. Subsequently, Harshad (Amit Soni) acknowledges his mistake in selecting the harmful string and the local police issue a community-wide alert, cautioning citizens about the risks associated with its use and urging everyone to celebrate safely.
In the upcoming episodes, Sakhi asks Gungun for a lift to the college on her scooter. Meanwhile, Rajesh (Sumeet Raghvan), on his way to work, witnesses a severe accident but, in his rush, chooses to ignore it, unaware that this decision will weigh heavily on him later. As the day progresses, the Wagles cannot reach Sakhi, and panic sets in. The situation takes a serious turn when Harshad learns about the accident, prompting both families to rush to the scene. To their shock, they discover that the scooter involved belongs to Gungun and realize that it was Sakhi and Gungun who were the victims of the accident Rajesh had neglected. At the hospital, both families are faced with the devastating news that one of the accident victims didn’t survive. Both families pray for their daughters' safety, but a shocking revelation soon follows, leaving them too shocked. Who survived and who didn’t?
Sumeet Raghvan, who essays the role of Rajesh Wagle, said, "For Rajesh, this situation is heartbreaking. This story is a reminder that sometimes we need to slow down and pay attention to what's happening around us and always try to be helpful and kind.”
