Actor Aashif Sheikh has had an illustrious career in movies with him donning various challenging avatars!!

However, his role of Vibhuti Narayan Mishra for &TV’s popular show, Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai! (Edit II) has broken all records of popularity!!

And Aashif himself very happily confides in us this fact!!

Of course, Bhabhiji has become a rage with viewers of all ages!! And Aashif recently got a splendid example of his show’s ever-increasing popularity, from one of his oldest fans!!

We hear that the talented actor got a call one day from a 71 years old lady by name Manju who lives in Gurgaon. An ardent and loyal viewer of Bhabhiji, Manju has become a great fan of Vibhuti Narayan and his histrionics.

Well, there is a saying that music can cure diseases!! And for the old and bed-ridden Manju, it is Bhabhiji that keeps her smiling all day!!

Aww, so cute!!Says Aashif, “Yes, I recently got a call from a 71 years old lady, Manju. It seems she has quite a lot of health problems and has been restricted to the bed for many years now. It was indeed amazing when she told me that she looks forward to the episodes of Bhabhiji… daily.  She not only watches the new episodes, but also sees the repeats without fail.”

So nice…

Aashif tells us that he has been keeping in touch with the lady ever since he got that first call from her. “She sends messages daily, and I also make it a point to enquire about her health whenever I am free.”
