After playing the negative Ashwathama in Mahabharat and Akash in Kumkum Bhagya, the dashing and good looking Ankit Mohan is now entertaining masses as SP Avinash in &TV’s Begusarai (Swastik Productions).
Talking about the same, Ankit shared, “It all happened really suddenly. Since I had already worked with Swastik Productions they just called me for the role. Since I trust them and I believe in never saying no to work, I took this role and I must say it has been a great decision and I am having a gala time.”
Giving details about the character he said, “Avinash is in Begusarai to clean up the system of the city. He is an honest and fearless officer who would across all levels to get justice done. He is a focussed person and his entry will definitely add a lot of twists in the track.”
When we asked him about his excitement playing a cop, Ankit shared, “After Mausam, I am once again donning the uniform and it is definitely a proud moment for me. I think my forte is intense roles and I can perform best in those. I actually enjoy the overall persona of a cop and am looking forward to Begusarai now.”
The actor also shared a very interesting tidbit about his life. “It is a coincidence or fate, but till date I have done roles with names starting with the alphabet A. It is really interesting and I feel I definitely have a connection with the letter since in real life too, my name starts with it. On one hand I see people change their names to get fame, and I have been just blessed with it luckily.”
