Melody queen Lata Mangeshkar has wished good luck to musician Shankar Mahadevan, who is making his acting debut in a Marathi film "Katyar Kaljat Ghusali".
The 85-year-old congratulated and wished him luck on Twitter on Sunday night.
"Namaskar. The talented music composer Shankar Mahadevan from the renowned musical trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is a very great singer. He is set to be seen as a singer and actor in a film. I wish him all the very best and I hope that you all will like it too," Mangeshkar tweeted.
Directed by debutant Subodh Bhave, the film is reportedly based on a famous Marathi play.
Mahadevan has also composed the music of the film along with his team members Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa.
