Actor Rohit Sharma, who was last seen as dancer and bad boy, Namit, in Channel V Sadda Haq is gearing up for his next project. And for the same, the young performer is getting trained in mixed martial art (MMA) and Brazilian jiu-jutsu (BJJ) under Brazil's champion Paulo Bananada.

Excited about the venture, Rohit is leaving no stone unturned and working hard to get into the skin of the character.

He shared, “Yes I am training myself in MMA and BJJ because my character demands it and for the same I need to be fierce, quick, agile and physically strong and fit as there is going to be lots of action and fight sequences. I don’t like to be laid back and take my work for granted. So apart from looks it’s equally important for me to get into the character both physically and mentally”.

“The concept of the show is very different from what we see on TV. I am sorry I can't disclose much about the show as I'm not allowed to. The project is little delayed but I'm sure the entire wait will be worth it. Currently I am just waiting for it to go on floors soon”, added Rohit.

Before concluding the actor also mentioned that till the time the shoot of his upcoming venture takes place he is looking forward to do interesting episodic like Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Twist Wala Love.
