Audience prefers realistic shows: Hiten Tejwani

Hiten Tejwani

The versatile and talented actor, Hiten Tejwani, popularly known as Karan, is mostly remembered for his character portrayal in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

After spending almost fifteen years in the industry, the man has succeeded not only to be one best talent, but also as one of the most popular actors.

The young man has tried his hands in many roles and has even proved to be a good host as well.

When we spoke to him, Hiten surely had many a tales to share with us. In a heart to heart conversation, we asked him about the changes he has noticed over the years in the industry and he shared, “From the time I have started working, things have changed a lot. Nowadays, I feel audiences are not much fond of too much drama on screen. Even they have been provided with too much reality shows; hence now they are connecting more with realistic shows, something with which they can relate to. And perhaps this is the reason that they are appreciating crime based shows, as they are already aware about the crime.”

So, is doing social dramas, which are more realistic, a conscious decision? And Hiten said, “It is not intentional. I am doing both Gangaa and Balika Vadhu together, which to some extent involves certain social issues. But, I am happy that in some ways I am involved with projects, which are trying to bring some changes. And if our efforts can bring changes in some parts, I will be more than happy to witness that.”

Even we hope for the same Hiten!!!
