Ravi and Shaheer to play brothers in Indonesian series

Shaheer Sheikh and Ravi Bhatia

When two good looking faces get together, it is bound to strike up a fiery chemistry.

But interestingly, this time the igniting bonding would be between two men!

Confused?

As viewers would know, the drop dead handsome Shaheer Sheikh has been working with the Indonesian TV and film industry for quite some time. And now, the dashing Ravi Bhatia last seen in Jodha Akbar, has also moved abroad to try his fate there.

The charming actors have been roped in to play the leads in the second instalment of popular Indonesian series, Cinta Di Langit Taj Mahal.

The dramatic romantic saga would revolve around two brothers, who would fall in love with the same girl. Nabila Syakieb would be seen playing the female lead. The series will launch from 2 November on ANTV.

Sources close to the show shared, “The brothers would be completely different personalities, but their choice in love would be the same. How the girl becomes a driving force between the two, would mark the overall storyline.”

We buzzed Ravi, who shared from Indonesia, “Doing an Indonesian series is a new challenge for me and I am thoroughly enjoying shooting in a completely different culture. Cinta Di Langit Taj Mahal-2 is a very interesting love triangle and I am playing Shaheer’s younger brother. Co-incidentally my onscreen name is also Ravi."

Ravi as per sources has also signed another show, wherein his secret agent character would be loosely based on James Bond. When we prodded him on the same, he said, “I can't reveal too many details about the second series at the moment. All I can say is that my character is extremely different from all the characters that I have portrayed till now.”

We could not reach Shaheer for a comment.

Good luck guys!!!
