MUMBAI: After winning hearts with her performances in popular TV shows like Maharana Pratap and Tara From Satara, Roshni Walia is now ready to make her mark on the silver screen with her debut film Son of Sardar 2.
In a recent interview, Roshni Walia opened up about her journey as a child artist in the industry and the experiences that shaped her over the years. She also recalled a shocking incident where she and her co-actors fainted on the set after an intense stretch of shooting.
Roshni shared, "During the shooting of Maharana Pratap, I vividly remember an intense experience — it was me, Faisal, Vishal Jethwa, and Jannat Zubair. We had been shooting continuously for over 24 hours, and at one point, all of us fainted together. Looking back, it feels absolutely insane and surreal. But that was the reality we worked in."
She went on to describe how being on set as a child actor shaped his journey: "For me, the set of a daily soap felt like a school. The producer was like the principal, the director was the teacher, and the crew and co-actors were my classmates. Just like in school where teachers scold you, I’ve been scolded plenty of times by my directors. Every day was a learning experience — you were constantly trying to do your best, staying competitive, making sure you didn’t forget your lines. So being a child actor, you learn acting very fast."
