Seen in films like Taal, Josh, Kya Kehna, and All The Best, among others, actor Puneet Vashisht, who entered Bigg Boss Nau (Endemol & Colors) as a wild card participant, recently bid goodbye to the show.
Post his eviction, when we chatted with the young man, he opened up about his journey and his stint in the series.
Puneet, who feels extremely happy about his exit from Bigg Boss states, “I am very much happy to be out of the show. I was going through a wild phase of life and that’s why perhaps the makers decided to put me in the venture. But soon enough, I realized that such kind of reality drama is not my cup of tea. But I am happy that I was a part of Bigg Boss Nau. I would have never realized that I was actually on a high.”
So, how was your with encounter Salman? Puneet quipped, “Honestly speaking, I was deeply hurt with his behaviour. I think I was misunderstood in the series. Even when I tried to speak with him, Salman completely ignored me. He even shouted at me, without hearing what I had to say."
“Somehow, I feel that Salman has something against me. And as we all know without being in his good books, it’s difficult to survive in the show. Last year’s winner Gautam Gulati was quite similar to his genre. But I am not that aggressive. I am more of Aamir and SRK's school of acting, and not of Salman. And with the decision of keeping Mandana Karimi inside the house even after her hostile attitude, it is quite clear that the makers are taking sides”, Puneet went on to add.
Post his elimination, the actor is currently gearing up for his comedy film and wishes to spend quality time with his mother. We wish him luck with his coming ventures.
