With Star Plus’ popular daily Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Directors’ Kut) making heads turn with its interesting concept, time to see a new twist in the tale.
Yash Gera who plays Shaurya in the daily has reportedly quit the show. Interestingly the character was initially played by another actor, Ather Habib before Yash stepped into his shoes.
Coming to Yash’ exit, a source close to him shared, “Yash has been doing good all these while, but in recent times his character had nothing to give. With tracks of other actors getting importance, he had a discussion with the team and amicably decided to part ways.”
As per sources, his character would be shown moving to Hongkong for business. There is no clarification if Shaurya will return with a new face or not.
When we buzzed Yash, he confirmed the news and shared, “Yes, I am moving out of YRKKH for as an actor I did not have much to do for some time. I will miss the team terribly, as they are more than family to me, but then life moves on. And now I am open to doing all kinds of roles and looking forward to bag something interesting soon.”
