Wow! Pankhuri Awasthy finds 'new love'

Pankhuri Awasthy

Excited aren’t you…wanting to know who is the new love in Pankhuri Awasthy’s life???

Well, sorry to disappoint you if you are looking forward to a spicy gossip story, for the pretty girl has found love in ‘poetry’.

Yes, these days the girl is on a writing spree! Though we do wonder if romance is making her mind do that, (wink wink)

Talking on her new found affinity, Pankhuri shared, “When an emotion has found thought and the thought has found words, that’s when poems are evolved. Real life inspirations and muse from time to time have inspired me to write poems. I must say add that I am yet to learn a lot, but it is just my honest approach towards my experiences.”

Here are a couple of poems that the actress has penned down (sic).

EVERYMAN

Those pages of his diary, now turned yellow

Safe in its leaves, a torn five rupee note

Those hands holding the diary, now wrinkled

Return to their infantile skin shed

What business takes him to his feet

I'm left to wonder...

His manly instincts now languid

Still he shows a courtesy here and there

His hunger now only pure

He eats his fill and relishes it

His reading he abandons and sits looking outside

What new ideas or simple thoughts move him

I'm left to wonder...

His semblance completely harmless

But a strange quest he emanates

He observes his 'kind' around him

But frowns, when denied an eye for an eye

What quid pro quo, was his demand

I'm left to wonder...

He looked at me when I was looking at him

He smiled at me and I sat still

For a moment he had lost again

When, my little girl returned a smile and that five rupee note

Which had fallen when he was gathering his hopes

He sat contented and closed his eyes..

Was that where his victory lied?

I'm left to wonder...

Was that smile, that little care

That sweet gesture, that hospitable stare

That sense of belonging and being human

That belief that a 'nobody' could be a truman

All that he wanted?

A search for hospitality in every heart and mind

So simple, yet so hard to find

Are we human enough, to return a smile for a smile

I'm left to wonder...

The Quaintrelle

When the sun was at its highest point

Upon its creation she stood tall

The moon knew its light is borrowed...

But she shone like a stardust doll

The heads turned, when she walked her way

All swayed needless to say

Unwillingly carried away with her charm... Superior heads paused

The reluctant ones involuntarily  surrendered to the harm she caused

The women turned green

Needed a breathing spell

While she walked her way

The Quaintrelle!

Wow!! Aren’t these just too beautiful???
