Karan Wahi replaces Abhishek Malik in &TV show

It seems like Karan Wahi is happy indulging in a musical chair game between TV shows.

After paving way for Priyanshu Jora for Sony TV’s next, the man has now gone ahead to topple down Abhishek Malik to bag the lead in 4 Lions show for &TV.

Credible sources shared with us that the channel wanted a bigger name and thus signed Karan at the last moment. Although sources close to the actor also maintained that he chose to opt of the show owing to some personal reasons.

The youth centric drama will be a love triangle. Apart from Karan, Reyansh Chaddha and Rhea Sharma will play the leads.

When we called Karan he said he will only talk once he signs the deal. Abhishek, on his part refused to comment on the same.

Our efforts to reach out to Producer Gul Khan remained futile.

As per sources, the team will shoot for the promo in a couple of days.

Karan who was last seen in Kuch Toh Log Kahenge will be making a dramatic comeback to TV post a long hiatus. He was seen doing an important cameo in YRF’s Dawaat-e-Ishq. The actor was also in talks with Life OK’s show for Guroudev Bhalla and Dhaval Gada.

But seems like his hunt for the perfect role has finally ended.

Karan, recently also shot for 4 Lions’ web series.

The new show, tentatively titled Teri Meri Kahani will air from 16 May.
