It is rightly said, “Some relationships are like Tom and Jerry. They tease each other, knock down each other, irritate each other, but can’t live without each other.”
And that relationship is definitely of a brother and sister.
One of the few siblings in tinsel town to share the warmest relationship, Mihika and Mishkat Varma are the epitome of true ‘sibling’ bonding.
By Mishkat’s confession, Mihika has always been like a mother to him, caring and protecting him from all iniquities.
And like a true bhai-behan jodi, this duo too has always been excited about rakshabandhan.
The festival that celebrates bond between a sister and brother would be incomplete this time with Mihika and Mishkat being seven seas apart from each other.
As readers would know, Mihika got married to Anand Kapai in April and moved to USA.
Sharing his emotions the handsome Mishkat said, “Of course Rakhi would be not the same this time with Mihika not around. But she has already sent me a rakhi, which I tied on my wrist, the first thing today morning. This is the first time we are away from each other and it is terrible without her. I am missing her a lot.”
When we asked him, if like a good brother he was sending a gift to her, Mishkat laughed, “Yaar she is USA. What can I get her, which she wouldn’t get there? But once she is back in December, I will surely make her feel special in my own way.”
Talking about Mihika’s absence in the family, the young lad quipped, “Mom facetimes with her everyday. It is not that we are not connected as we are in constant touch. But yes not having her physically around is a difficult phase.”
And finally Mishkat revealed a tiny little secret from the wedding. “You wont believe I was the only one crying at her bidaai. My parents were all cool and calm and I was going hysterical with the thought of letting her go. She is the most important part of my life, and I miss her everyday,” he said with a heavy voice.
Awww…. We are sure Mihika misses you too.
