Comedy King Kapil's 'corruption' accusation against BMC

The world woke up to a shock of Kapil Sharma’s sarcastic tweets about corruption in the city.

Kapil has been vocal about his support towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi but seems like it’s all the tale of the past.

The stand-up comedian tweeted about BMC (Bombay Muncipal Corruption) asking for a bribe of Rs 5 lakh from him for opening an office in the city.

He tweeted, “I am paying 15 cr income tax from last 5 year n still i have to pay 5 lacs bribe to BMC office for making my office @narendramodi”

The comedy super star further questioned, “Yeh hain aapke achhe din ? @narendramodi”

The BJP MP Kirit Somaiya from Mumbai North east constituency tweeted,

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also tweeted on taking strict action on the same,

Kapilbhai pls provide all info.
Have directed MC,BMC to take strictest action.

Is Kapil really a victim of corruption. Only time will tell

We wonder if the PM would take swift action on the same.
