We have seen many actors go fat to fit but there’s one television actor who has gained 30kgs to get the perfect muscular body.
We are talking about SABTV’s Badi Dooooor Se star Punit Talreja, who plays the role Hemant.
Punit’s body transformation will give you some serious fitness goals and will definitely motivate you to hit the gym now!
He shares, “6 years back I told myself that I wanted to surprise everyone with my body transformation. I always had a wish to become an actor. People used to laugh at me seeing my lanky frame. They thought I would never become an actor in real life. I am glad that I proved everyone wrong. Lot of dedication and determination has gone behind to get this muscular body. I was 52kgs in 2010 and now I am 82 kgs.”
He continues, “Thankfully I am blessed with a good metabolism so I gain and lose weight very easily. Since few years I have been keeping complete check on my diet and visiting gym at least five days a week. Diet plays a very important role in fitness. I don’t indulge myself from eating junk food and sweets.”
Can you share your diet plan? “I have oats, eggs whites and almond in my breakfast. After sometime I have a fruit and protein shake. For lunch I eat dal and chicken salad. Evening again I have egg whites and sweet potato. Before leaving for gym I have a bowl full of soup with lot of veggies in it. For dinner I again binge on salad. I bring lot of variation in salad.”
Your gym routine? “My body requires less cardio hence my weight training is very heavy. I have different set of exercises each day.”
What are the dos and don'ts that one should follow? “Dedication is very important. Once you succeed make sure to maintain it. For don’ts I would say that avoid eating very late night. Don’t stay dehydrated.”
