&TV’s popular show Gangaa (Sphere Origins) is set to dole out dollops of drama in the coming episodes.
The plot depicts Sagar’s (Vishal Vashishtha) battle to win his daughter Krishna’s (Ruhana Khanna) custody.
In the coming episodes, Supriya (Roop Durgapal) will get insecure thinking about the fate of her own daughter Juhi, as she will dread the fact that her daughter will be ignored in the house, if Krishna becomes a part of it.
Insecurity is a negative emotion leading to vicious branches of further peril. One needs extreme command over the expression to depict the feeling impeccably. As an artist, it can end up impacting one’s consciousness in a negative way, and Roop is aware of it.
Actress extraordinaire, Roop shares more on the plot and her experience of enacting it.
“Supriya adopted Juhi on her family’s insistence and she was optimistic about her acceptance in the family. The girl’s arrival helped strengthen her relationship with her husband Pulkit (Abhishek Tiwari). Now, Supriya has learnt of Juhi’s fear of feeling alienated. She is reactive of Dadi’s statement where she mentioned that had they known of Krishna being the biological child, an adoption scenario would have never occurred. So, it’s very natural for any parent to get insecure in this scenario."
So has she ever got insecure in real life? “Not really, but I just don’t want to lose my loved ones and it scares me when they are unwell. I am pretty secure in my head about everything else.”
Talking about changes ‘insecurity’ can bring to one’s personality, she says: “I guess insecurity would make a person more fearful and you can’t enjoy life with fear. One should always know and believe that what is actually yours would never go and if it goes, then it was never yours. So, just be happy with what you have and enjoy life.”
Keep up the good work, Roop!
