After Times Now’s Arnab Goswami, it’s time for another TV EXIT news!
The ever-so-popular Vikas Gupta who transited from TV production to heading programming at Zee group Hindi GEC &TV has decided to move on. Vikas joined &TV on 1 September, 2015. After serving a six-month notice he is now headed to newer pastures.
Prior to his &TV journey, Vikas was working with MTV as its programming head. Vikas' production house Lost Boy successfully launched shows like Yeh Hai Aashiqui (bindass), Gumrah (Channel V) and The Serial (Channel V).
We at Tellychakkar.com remember Vikas for his warmth towards us and his constantly changing hair styles. From having shoulder length hair which he would tie in a knot on his head (or cover with a cloth) to having a short haired clean look, he changed his appearances with élan.
Confirming the news to Indiantelevision.com, Vikas shared, “While there were rumours that I left all of a sudden, I served two months in addition to my notice period. I have had an amazing time working with &TV. We have done such wonderful shows such as Santoshi Maa, Badho Bahu and Gangaa together, which I am leaving behind. I wish &TV all the best.”
Vikas used Facebook to announce his departure. “& I pack my bags for my next adventure.”
Knowing him, it truly could turn out be an exciting one.
