For many actors, acting is not just a work but also about self exploration and learning new things about life.
One actress who belongs to this group surely is Ishaa M Saha, who is currently playing the female lead in Star Jalsha's Jhaanj Lobongo Phool (Shree Venkatesh Films).
In a conversation with Tellychakkar.com the talented actress expressed, “When I had joined the industry around eight months back, I knew nothing about acting. Being an introvert, who cannot express her emotions in front of people, I was really worried about enacting my scenes.”
“Over the months, I think I have improved. Now I can express a lot, thanks to my unit who helped me to deal with this issue of mine. While playing Lobongo, I think I am discovering myself,” she added.
The pretty lady said that she is happy with her work and Lobongo will always remain special to her.
She quipped, “Lobongo being my first role will always remain special to me. I like it when people call me by this name.”
When asked what her dream role is, she said, “I guess I will be able to answer this after two years. But yes, in my next soap, I would like to play a role, which is completely opposite of Lobongo. I am happy with my current role but I am hungry for different roles.”
It is said that social networking sites are a great way to connect with fans and viewers. However, Ishaa has a different take on this.
“Our loyal viewers are mainly maa-mashi (women of the house), who do not browse through social networking sites that much so; I don’t think actors can connect with their fans on such platforms,” she observed.
When we remind her that the number of her followers on Facebook has increased, the lady agreed and said, “Yes, I too have noticed that. In fact, I did not enable it earlier; I did it only a few months back.”
