Vinod Khanna passes away

Sad news coming your way! Veteran and very popular actor Vinod Khanna is no more. The actor, known for his films like Qurbani, Mukadar Ka Sikander, Amar Akbar Anthony, Haath Ki Safai and more, breathed his last today (27 April). The yesteryear star, who has been suffering from a bout of ill health, had been hospitalised since 31 March. Vinod’s son actor Rahul Khanna, while speaking to the media, had shared, that his father was admitted after suffering from severe dehydration, and hoped that the doctors would discharge him soon. But a recent image of a frail looking Vinod, supposedly from the hospital, doing the rounds in social media, had sparked a concern over his health. And today, news comes in that after fighting a battle with bladder cancer, he breathed his last today morning in Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, Girgaon (Mumbai). Vinod, known for his good looks, bold personality and impeccable acting skills, kept away from the showbiz after entering politics. He made his comeback with Salman Khan's Wanted and also starred with him in Dabbang. His last film Dilwale, was with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. Vinod is survived by his son Rahul, Akshay (first marriage) and his second wife Kavita, and their kids Saakshi, Shraddha. May his soul rest in peace!!!
