Don’t want a novice star kid to judge me: Iqbal Khan

Tellychakkar.com recently broke the news of Iqbal Khan and Chhavi Mittal joining hands for Shitty Ideas Trending’s upcoming short film. While we were on the sets having an exclusive conversation with the actor, Iqbal revealed much about his career choices.  

Iqbal in his more than a decade long career has rarely tried his hands on reality shows. The only reality show that he has been part of is Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi. He said, “The only reason I did Khatron ke khiladi is because it’s the only show which is closest to reality, other shows are not really reality, we all know what they are.”

On being asked if he’ll ever be part of any reality shows in the future, without sounding pompous he confessed, “You have worked for so many years, people work behind you and then you don’t want anyone who is there (in the industry) for few years and is a star kid to judge you in some competition.”

Clearly, Iqbal’s take on reality shows has a point.

On work front, the actor is cherishing his free time off work and is not in a mood to make a comeback on TV.  Soon he’ll be seen in the short film along with Additi Gupta, as siblings for Shitty Ideas Trending.
