Hamari Saas Leela to go off air on 16 December

Neela Telefilm’s Hamari Saas Leela has been on the chopping block for quite some time now. Earlier the channel decided to pull the show off air in the month of September but instead chose to shift it to an afternoon slot. But the latest information that we gather is that Hamari Saas… is all set to bid adieu on 16 December 2011. “The show failed to gain the desired numbers. So the makers have now decided to pull it off air. The production team and the actors have been informed about the development,” informs a reliable source. Tellychakkar.com spoke to Aditi Sajwan who plays the role of Koyal in Hamari Saas Leela and she said, “Yes, the show is going off air. However, I am not sure about the exact date.” We also talked to Asit Modi of Neela Telefilms who confirmed the news and said, “Yes, Hamari… will hit the screens for the last time on 16 December. The show did not live up to the expectations and TV viewers did not like it. So,we had to pull it off.” So, it curtains down on Hamari Saas Leela!!!
