KOLKATA: Bong beauty Sweta Bhattacharya says that she did not expect that the Star Bharat show Jai Kanhaiya Lal ki will end so soon and she is feeling bad about it.

Remake of the popular ongoing Bengali television show Bhojo Gobindo, Jai Kanhaiya Lal ki is Sweta’s first Hindi project and it features her as the female lead. It started airing from 1 January this year and there is a buzz that it will go off air.

Asked if she is feeling bad that her first Hindi project will go off air so soon, she said to TellyChakkar, “The TRP is good. I did not expect the show will end so soon. I am feeling very bad. I don’t even know about the last shooting date. We are still shooting for the Hindi show. In fact, we will be shooting for the entire month.”

Who will she miss the most from the show? “I will miss the entire unit and of course, my work,” said the actress.

“The journey has been really nice. It taught me Hindi,” she added.

Asked about her next project, she said, “I have not signed anything yet. Once the show goes off air, I will be jobless.”

“But yes, I want to work with Blues (production house) again. Until and unless Blues throws me out, I won’t leave. I want to remain associated with them,” she added.

Previously, Sweta was seen in lead roles in Bengali dailies like Jarowar Jhumko and Tumi Robe Nirobe. Both the soaps were produced by Blues Production.

Best wishes for your next project, Sweta!
