MUMBAI: Just like make-up and makeovers are not new to Bollywood, prosthetic make-up has found a remarkable place in the industry. Despite method acting, our Bollywood stars want to get under the skin of their respective characters and go up an extra mile.
When we went gaga over Kamal Haasan disguising himself as an old lady in Chachi 420, little did we know that the character was brought to life by not only the self-made actor but by also the make-up artiste. Besides making the actors look pretty on-screen, these make-up artistes are responsible for creating characters.
TellyChakkar brings out other unsung prosthetic make-up heroes who acted as more than just a helping hand to our beloved Bollywood characters.
