MUMBAI: Contiloe Pictures’ Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanumaan which premiered on Sony TV on 4 May, 2015 attracted a massive fan following. It was not only a visual treat but also brought in depth tracks which imparted a lot of knowledge about Hanuman from the viewpoint of Lord Shri Krishna and Devi Rukmini.
The fans of the mythological show were extremely disappointed with the news of it going off-air. Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanumaan finally bid adieu on 21 August, 2017.
The show has been dubbed in Tamil as Jai Hanuman on Sun TV, in Malayalam as Mahaveera Hanuman on Surya TV and in Telugu as Sri Anjaneyam on Gemini TV. Such is the craze of the mythological TV series that it is telecast in Thailand too!
There are speculated reports of the show coming back with season 2 from a long time; however, there is no confirmation about the same. While we are sure the eager fans cannot wait to watch their superhero back on TV, our sources inform us that Contiloe Pictures are in talks to produce Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanumaan in Kannada. The show is expected to air on Udaya TV.
We are sure the Kannada TV viewers are going to have a hearty time watching the mythological drama!
We also hear that the makers are in talks for casting child actor Ishant Bhanushali who played the young Hanuman in Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanumaan. As per our sources, Ishant’s parents are not too sure if they’d want Ishant to play Hanuman once again and are still considering the project.
