MUMBAI: Bigg Boss 12 is only in its first week and viewers have already seen many controversies surfacing: Anup Jalota and Jasleen Matharu’s relationship, Sreesanth threatening to walk out of the house, Sourabh Patel and Shivashish Mishra lying about their true identities, two ‘enemies’ participating together, and more than one contestant breaking down in the house—these are just a few of them!

This time the theme is single versus jodis. Dipika Kakar, who is known for playing the role of Simar Prem Bharadwaj in Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka entered the house alone. She participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 8 with her present husband Shoaib Ibrahim and recently made her Bollywood debut with Paltan.

In less than a week in Bigg Boss, Dipika has managed to make a mark. From taking charge of the kitchen, being nominated, and even breaking down after losing a task, the actress seems to be the strongest contender so far.
