MUMBAI: It was a great day for Binaifer and Sanjay Kohli as their two star shows; Bhabiji Ghar par Hain and Jijaji Chhat Par Hai won major awards at the Indian Telly Awards held recently.
The Best Screenplay Comedy award was given to Sanjay Kohli, Manoj Santoshi and Shashank Bali for Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, while Best Director Comedy award was given to Shashank Bali for Bhabiji Ghar par Hain and Jijaji Chhat Par Hai. Manoj Santoshi and Raghuveer Sheikhawat won the award for the Best Writer Dialogues for Jijaji Chhat Par Hai and Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai.
“It is always amazing to get appreciation for your hard work. I am so glad that the audience is loving both our top shows Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai and Jijaji Chhat Par Hai. These awards are a testimony to the hard work that we are putting in. They mean the world to us, thank you so much,” says an ecstatic Binaifer.
The team was clearly dressed to win as well and wore all black outfits. Now, that’s one stylish team, isn’t it?
