MUMBAI: &TV’s fantasy-based show Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gaatha will soon introduce a Ramayan track in its show.
The makers at Peninsula Pictures have roped in popular actors to play pivotal characters.
According to our sources, Meri Hanikarak Biwi fame Abhishek Gupta will depict the role of Ram, and Charu Mehra, who rose to fame with Kumkum Bhagya, will be seen as Sita.
Moreover, actor Brownie Parashar, who was last seen in Mahakali, has been roped in to play Sant Vashisht, and Dinesh Mehta, who been part of TV shows namely Mahakali, Chandragupta Maurya, and Shaktipeeth Ke Bhairav, will play the character of Ravan.
This particular track is expected to air soon.
We could not get through the actors for a comment.
The show features Aham Sharma as Vikram and Makrand Deshpande as Betaal.
