MUMBAI: India's Next Top Model winner Riya Subodh, who was seen with YouTuber Danish Zehen in Vikas Gupta’s Ace Of Space, is heartbroken after his shocking demise.
Danish, who was also a lifestyle blogger and promoted various brands, was returning from a wedding when his car met with an accident on the Vashi highway.
Riya had shared a good bonding with Danish, as he was also her roommate in the show. She was at the airport to catch a flight to Ahmedabad when she received the shocking news of his death on Instagram. She was shattered and started crying.
She said to an entertainment portal, ‘Around 5:45 AM, I checked my Instagram and the first post was of Vikas. I had his cousin’s number. Then, he told me the entire incident. I lost my calm and broke down at the airport. I was crying profusely and missed my flight.’
It is being speculated that the accident took place as Danish was driving and making videos. On this, she stated to the publication, ‘Oh God! I have no comments at this time, because I’m in a very sad place. I’ve just lost my dear friend. As and when details come out, we’ll get to know, but as of now, I’m really shaken.’
