Barun Sobti’s 22 Yards will release on this date to avoid a clash with Ajay Devgn's Total Dhamaal

MUMBAI: Barun Sobti is one of the most popular television actors and has a massive fan following. He became a household name with the show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. He has always been appreciated for his acting and will now entertain his fans with his upcoming film 22 Yards.

The movie was supposed to release this Friday but has been pushed to March 15th. It’s not the first time that the release date has been pushed. The trailer of the film was released two years ago, and fans have been wanting to see him on the big screen since. It won’t be clashing with Ajay Devgn’s Total Dhamaal anymore and will have a solo release.

Mitali Ghost, the director of the movie, spoke to a leading entertainment portal and confirmed the release date. She said that it happens to many films. 'We have pushed the movie back to get the proper number of screens and shows keeping all other factors in mind. The movie trailer has got a positive response and love and hence wanted to give the film a perfect release and make the film available for more viewers,' she shared.

Barun plays the head of a sports management company in Kolkata in it. The movie also stars Amartya Ray, Rajit Kapur, Panchi Bora, Chaiti Ghoshal, Rajesh Sharma, and Geetika Tyagi.
