MUMBAI: Mangalam Dangalam narrated the story of Rumi and Arjun, who hail from different backgrounds and fall in love with each other. However, he must convince her father that he is the right man for his beloved daughter. Goof-ups, tiffs, and many cute moments formed a part of this funny ride.
The show has come to an end, and the month of March is going to show how the jamai (Karanvir Sharma) impresses the sasur (Manoj Joshi). Karanvir debuted with the film Sadda Adda. He has also starred in 24: India, the film Zid, and the series Haq Se.
Karanvir’s character in the show is an ethical and sophisticated South Indian boy who does not believe in stereotypes. He impresses everyone with his wit and intelligence and is an ideal boy next door.
Karanvir told TellyChakkar that he has an emotional attachment with the show and that although on screen, Karanvir and Manoj Joshi indulge in cat-and-mouse fights, in real life, they are the best of friends.
‘I am definitely going to miss the show. Having said that, it was always supposed to be a 100-episode series. I am glad they didn’t stretch the drama and left scope for season 2,’ he said.
Currently, Karanvir is concentrating on his film Blank, which is due for release on 3rd May and also stars Sunny Deol. It is a mystery–thriller directed by Behzad Khambata.
He is also open to any interesting offers coming his way.
