Kuch Toh Log Kahenge is different from Dhoop Kinare says Rukhsar Rehman

Rukhsar Rehman is very busy playing the role of Dr Mallika in Sony Entertainment’s Kuch Toh Log Kahenge. Sadly, she couldn’t celebrate the New Year in style as she was down with dust allergies. Being a diligent actress, she hasn’t taken a break. “I would take an off only if it is very important. I keep getting these bouts of sneezing especially in the cold weather but it is not that bad that I cancel the shoot,” reveals Rukhsar. In fact, she doesn’t think her character, Dr Mallika is similar to that of Dr Sheena Karamat from the Pakistani show, Dhoop Kinare.“The two shows are very different. Dhoop Kinare was only of 18 episodes, but that’s not the case with our show and hence there are bound to be differences,” she says. She says that the creative’s have introduced newer tracks and characters, “like my brother and sister in law which were not there in the original track,” she points out. Not only this, she feels her daily will surely climb up in the TRP race. “The repeat airing at 11 pm slot has also helped the numbers to grow, as the people who watch the repeat are also catching the original telecast as well,” smiles Rukhsar.
