Our sources inform us that the much-acclaimed character of Dayaben is most likely to return in the show post the ICC World Cup 2019.
It is still uncertain whether Disha Vakani will continue to play the role of Dayaben or whether the makers will introduce some other actor for it.
For the uninitiated, Disha took maternity leave for six months in 2017, but after that, she hasn’t returned to the show. According to some reports, Disha’s husband wants her to take care of the child, while others stated that she is asking for a hike and including other clauses in her contract before returning to the show.
Let’s wait and watch whether Disha returns to Taarak Mehta or whether viewers will witness a new Dayaben in the show.
