MUMBAI: Sanjivani was one of the most loved television shows in 2002!

The medical drama narrated the story of four medical interns (Dr. Juhi Singh, Dr. Rahul Mehra, Dr. Simran Chopra, and Dr. Omi Joshi), who strive to be brilliant doctors.

The rebooted version of the show will air on Star Plus from 12th August. While the previous season featured Gurdeep Kohli, Mihir Mishra, Sanjeet Bedi, and Rupali Ganguly, the current star cast includes Surbhi Chandna and Namit Khanna in titular roles.

Producer Siddharth P Malhotra had shared the first look of the show on National Doctors Day with a caption that read, 'It's #nationaldoctorsday day so #sanjivani2 ka first look banta hai :) presenting dr ishaani @SurbhiChandna @dr Sid #namitkhanna dr Anjali #sayantanighosh& the original pillars dr Juhi @GurdipPunjj & my favourite always dr Shashank @Mohnish_Bahl @StarPlus @sapnamalhotra15.'

Surbhi has promoted the show by launching the whistle challenge and giving her fans glimpses of the shoot on social media. Well, the doctors have now got their badges! Take a look.
